Meet Chris Scott - Your Trusted Swim Trainer
Smart Swimmers is both owned and also operated by Chris Scott. Hailing all the way from London, Chris arrived in the Cape (without a red cape) as a dedicated swim trainer with just about over 20 years of experience in teaching learn-to-swim to coaching swimming.
Our main mission is to help individuals of all skill levels, regardless of age, realise their swimming goals. Here at Smart Swimmers, we accommodate those seeking water confidence as well as water safety (learn to swim) through to mastering advanced strokes while honing an elite-level technique.
For the private training crowd, our personalised sessions establish that each and every swimmer receives the personal attention and guidance catered to your specific goals and needs in order to progress faster through the water at your preferred pace.

Welcome to our minimal chlorinated pools, providing not only a comfortable but also a safe environment for swimmers of all ages.
Our pools are both indoor and heated (no thanks to Eskom), making swimming all the more worthwhile and enjoyable for the whole family.
Every swimmer is supported authentically and also individually, all the while fostering a deep respect for the water and one's own fellow squad members
For those beginning their swimming journey, introducing water safety and confidence is our main priority. For the more avid athletes, developing crucial strokes and stamina is the end goal.
